BLACKOUT FEST Co-Founders - Mishka and Eugenia

Eugenia and Mishka, friends from the age of 14, have always shared an avant-garde vision of the arts. Eugenia graduated with a Business Degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business, while Mishka graduated with a BA in theatre, and later with a film performance certificate from the New York Film Academy.

The Fall of 2011, a unique idea was born. BLACKOUT FEST was in its infancy; an innovative art expression began to takeoff in Toronto, Canada. They turned their festival into a stimulating interactive art experience. Expanding it and making it available for all artists, from any form of art. Their goal is to allow every artist to have the opportunity to submit and be a part of this event. The most creative and engaging art is chosen and presented to the observer.

The duo’s mutual passion for artistic expression, of all varieties, led them to come together as creative partners and produce a festival to reflect the concepts which intrigue them.
